Conway girls start fast and stun Northside

Conway's girls bolted to a 24-4 lead Friday night on the way to a 57-43 victory over Fort Smith Northside, the first conference defeat for the Lady Bears (20-2, 8-1).

Northside scored only 10 points the first half in trailing 26-10. The Lady Bears, after scoring early, went 15:27 without a field goal the first half.

With victories over Little Rock Hall and Northside this week, the Lady Cats got themselves back in the 7A/6A Central race at 6-3.

Alexis Tolefree led Conway with 17 poinra. Asia Willard added 13 and Jordan Danberry 11. Allie Pack had eight.
