Greenwood girls hold off Conway

Greenwood used a 19-2 run at the end of the first quarter, then held off a series of surges by the Lady Cats to take a 59-55 victory Friday night at Buzz Bolding Arena.

 

The win solidified the Lady Bulldogs' grip on second place in 7A/6A Central.

Alexis Tolefree, who drove through the Greenwood defense for three straight baskets in the fourth quarter, led Conway with 20 points.

The Wampus Cats won their third straight game, 53-41,
