Former Conway High and Ouachita Baptist University standout Austin Mitchell is the new boys basketball coach at Conway Christian.

He graduated with honors from Conway High in 2008, helping his team to the 7A basketball finals in the 2007-08 season. He went on to a standout career at OBU.

Mitchell became the sixth-leading scorer in OBU history with 1,319 career points from 2008-2013. He helped the Tigers to the Great American Conference Championship in 2013.
