Hendrix players talk about the added depth

QUARTERBACK SETH PETERS

“I’m 100 percent (from injury). I’m ready to go.”

“The big thing is we have more numbers this year and I can take a couple of plays off and we can get help in practice and practice like we need to ... I think we all are bigger, faster, stronger, meaner, as coach Buchanan likes to say.”

Defense: “I think we’re all improved. We’ve been through an offseason and that has helped.”

RUNNING BACK
DAYTON WINN

“We’re raring to go. We’ve got better size and some quality backups. I think we have more talent.

“It helps that we’ve got enough players now to give the offense and defense a rest.”

On kick returns: “I think it is a matter of vision. I think I have the ability to see the field and see the blocks.”
