Berry College wins rubber match of baseball series against Hendrix

 

 

After splitting the first two games of the series, the Hendrix College baseball team lost, 9-7, to Berry College in the rubber match of the Southern Athletic Association series on Sunday at Warrior Field.

The visiting Vikings (5-6, 2-1) overcame a 7-2 Warrior lead after five innings.

Thomas Weber led Hendrix (5-8, 1-2) at the plate with three hits. Ryan Ritz recorded two hits, two runs and a stolen base. Collin Radack extended his hitting streak to 18 games.

Hendrix will travel to Jackson, Miss. for a three-game SAA series with Millsaps College beginning Friday.
