The Central Arkansas Sugar Bears stepped out of Southland Conference play for the second of three games in three days to defeat Louisiana Tech, in straight sets in volleyball Friday night at the Prince Center.
Jessica Nagy led Central Arkansas (9-3) offensively, notching 15 kills and three blocks. Paige Gantar chipped in 10 kills. Marissa Collins turned in a double-double at the setter position, dishing out 35 assists and digging 10 balls, adding four blocks and a service ace. Shelbee Berring led the Sugar Bear defense with 11 digs.
Central Arkansas will return to Southland Conference play at 2 p.m. Saturday against Incarnate Word.
