Peyton Hillis to ink new deal with New York Giants

Conway's Peyton Hillis is returning to the New York Giants.

Free agency starts at 3 p.m. today, and ESPN is reporting that Hillis has signed a two-year deal with the NFC East team worth $1.8 million.

Hillis is having a physical in New Jersey today, and the deal is expected to be completed soon.

Hillis, 28, has rushed for 2,717 yards and 23 touchdowns in parts of six seasons with the Giants,ChiefsBrowns and Broncos. He was a star for the Conway Wampus Cats and later for the Arkansas Razorbacks, where he was featured in the running back combo that also starred Darren McFadden of the Oakland Raiders and Felix Jones of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
