Warriors sweep Lady Crusaders

IRVING, Texas - The Hendrix College softball team won both games of a doubleheader against the University of Dallas at Crusader Field on Sunday afternoon. The Warriors (2-2) overcame a 6-0 deficit to win 7-6 in the opener, then dominated the Lady Crusaders (2-4) 11-5 in game two.


Michaela Larabee went 3-for-4 with a double, a run and a stolen base, and sophomore designated player Kayla Patton had three hits, including a double. Hughes had two hits, including the two-run homer.


In game two, Amanda Riley went 3-for-4 with a triple and three runs scored. Larabee had three hits and two runs scored and Tiffany Hubbard went 4-for-4 with a pair of doubles.


Hendrix will host the Warrior Spring Fling this weekend beginning with a doubleheader against Greenville College on Friday night.
