UCA golfers 10th after two rounds

BROUSSARD, La. — The University of Central Arkansas women’s golf team shot 317 in the second round of the McNeese State Le Triomphe Collegiate Invitational on Monday and stands 10th overall with one round to play.


Sophomore Sarah Brown is tied for 24th after rounds of 77-78-15. Senior Carly Dear is close behind, tied for 26th (78-78-156), while junior Kendra Mann shot 79-79-158) and is tied for 34th. Junior Malin Senneryd is tied for 47th (79-82-161) and sophomore Frida Svensson is tied for 76th (83-86-169).


Louisiana Monroe remains atop the field at 599, followed by Houston Baptist (604), Grand Canyon (612), Lamar (621), McNeese State Blue and Stephen F. Austin (622), Sam Houston State (626), Arkansas State (627), South Alabama (628), UCA (630), Oral Roberts (633), New Orleans (642), Incarnate Word (647), McNeese State Gold (648), Texas Pan American (652), McLennan CC (662), Valparaiso (671) and UAB (672).
