ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Santa Clara used two first-half goals to take a 2-0 victory over the University of Central Arkansas men's soccer team Sunday.

Santa Clara (1-4-0) grabbed the lead in the seventh minute, as James Huffer took advantage to some miscommunication along the Bear back line to slip a pass to Keigo Kameiya, who slid it just inside the post for his first goal of the season and a 1-0 lead. An own goal by the Bears (3-3-0) in the 33rd minute pushed the Bronco lead to 2-0.
Central Arkansas returns to the field with a pair of games in Nashville, Tenn. this weekend taking on Belmont on Friday and Lipscomb on Sunday.
