Hendrix College begins football competition this fall.
However, a preview broke out this weekend in the Warriors' baseball game against fellow Southern Athletic Association member Berry College
Berry pitcher Levi Austin throws a wild pitch after Hendrix's Matt Simmons calls timeout and steps out of the batter's box on the first pitch. The Warriors' Collin Raddack tries to score from second and when Austin applies a crunching pancake block. Austin is ejected and Hendrix is awarded the run in a 7-2 victory.

That pitcher is an a-hole. Threw two close calls in a row and then just tackled a runner when he had no chance to make a play. Ejection from one game isn't enough.

Nothing against Hendrix players, they are a class act, they even help the city league players during practice.
