Guard Elizabeth Bromirski found a comfort zone along the wing Friday night and scored 18 of her 23 points the second half in leading Birmingham Southern to a 73-62 victory over Hendrix in women's basketball at Grove Gymnasium.
The Warriors (0-16, 0-5) opened their biggest lead of the game at 42-36 with 15:35 left. Bromerski scored the Panthers' next nine points as they went on an 8-0 run toke take control of the game.
Lindsay Driellette led Hendrix with 15 points. Caitlyn Kriesel-Bigler and Katy Gallien eah had 10. Bromirski was nine of 11 from the field for the Panthers (7-9, 2-3). Melanie Short added 20 points.
