at Sports Club
Former Harlem Globetrotter star Geese Ausbie, once known as the “Clown Prince of Basketball” will be the featured speaker Monday at December’s “icon” luncheon of the Arkansas Sports Club.
The luncheon, free to all interested, will begin at 11:30 a.m. at The Golden Corral. The program will begin at 12:05 p.m.
Each December, the club recognizes an “icon” speaker, someone who has established himself as a legend in Arkansas sports history. Also each December, the club makes a donation to a charitable organization, many times associated with the speaker. This year’s donation will go to the Geese Ausbie Foundation to buy toys for underpriviledged youngsters in the Little Rock area.
