JESSIEVILLE — Dane Richardson hit a buzzer basket to lead Mayflower's boys to a 53-51 victory over Episcopal Collegiate to reach the Class 3A Region 3 championship game.
Episcopal Collegiate was the champion of 3A-5. The Eagles entered the tourney as a No. 3 seed. They will play for the title at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
Mayflower had already clinched one of four berthis in next week's state tournament at Riverview.
