Well...........

1. Least productive Congress means much of BO's agenda was thwarted. The Senate Dems had no agenda so it was easy being them.

"Governments have a tendency not to solve problems, only to rearrange them."

RONALD REAGAN

"The most powerful force we can enlist against the Federal deficit is an ever-expanding American economy, unfettered and free."

RONALD REAGAN, State of the Union address, Feb. 4, 1986

"The one thing our Founding Fathers could not foresee -- they were farmers, professional men, businessmen giving of their time and effort to an idea that became a country -- was a nation governed by professional politicians who had an interest in getting re-elected. They probably envisioned a fellow serving a couple of hitches and then eagerly looking forward to getting back to the farm."

RONALD REAGAN

A wise man.

Well...........

And......

"Since 1970, America’s public sector has exploded as a percentage of GDP, rising to almost 25% last year. While the national unemployment rate hovers at the 8% mark, government worker unemployment rate is a cozy 3.8%. Sixteen percent of America’s workforce now work for government. By the time the Obama administration ends, we won’t be that far away from Argentina’s 21 percent."

At the top of the growth areas? Washington D.C. But why? DC is s a crime free, beautiful area? No, see the above paragraph.

Areas losing population? Communist Vermont is number 1. The others are mostly in Yankee land. The bad news is they are moving to the south and southwest.

Pandering to a soceity of selfish people who are takers and not producers, is easy for BO and his ilk. The left loves class warfare and has created a an entitlement enviroment that ignorant or selfish people flock to.

Will America survive?

Well............

Speaking of beautiful areas, why are people leaving Vermont, Rhode Island and yankee land in general?

The only reason I am still here is that my job is here that I was promised a retirement from. That retirement has been ravaged and forced my remaining into a 401k... But now I'm over 60 and can retire, you can bet it won't be here. I cannot pay the property tax here along with the 7% Williston and VT sales tax, the gasoline taxes, the Rooms and Meals taxes, and income taxes on my retirement income. I don't see elderly moving here, I see them stuck here because they can't afford their way out. I'm fortunate that I have saved some. Of course I'll have to find a job where ever I go because the Feds are ready to take a bunch more from those of us whom EARN IT! Jack

@ mick: You hit the nail on the head. VT leads the nation in per capital for the amount of "welfare" dollars one receives. Fifteen years ago I relocated to TN (whew.. red state) with extremely low property taxes (1/10 of VT's), no income tax, affordable housing, lower gas (.40 cents less), jobs and a FUTURE !!! I woke up one day ....realized if I ever want to make, save and have anything.... it wouldn't be in VT. The more I travel back to VT the more it looks more like a third world country. So much potential, history and heritage....sad. The Stalinist have eaten anyway at the core and have made VT some "progressive utopia". So little work now... so many with hand extended & palm open... total decay. Green Mtn Coffee found out how lucrative it was to open in a "red state". GMC has expanded three times to the Knoxville, TN plant in three years. Grass is greener on the other side... jump."

Vermont Gov. promises to pass doctor assisted suicide in 2013!

BO's world is a delusion folks... it has proven over and over not to work... at least if you believe in capitalism... He doesn't.

Which America do you want?
