NOVA

Howwwwwwdieeeeee! My name is Nova…..I’m here with my sister Nike….we were surrendered by our owner for unknown reasons. We are both spayed female Husky/Shepherd mixes, we are about 10 wks old and weigh 8 lbs. We are the cutest gals ever and like most puppies we enjoy playing and being silly….we do like to reserve some time for our beauty rest too! Since we were surrendered we are available now!
Adopting a dog from the Conway Animal Welfare Unit is a fairly easy process. The first step to adopting an animal is submitting an application. The application allows us to individually consider applicants and helps us to properly match our pets with new owners. We want to make sure that our pets are going to homes that are ready to provide for these pets long-term. Adoptions are $50 and this includes vaccinations, heartworm test, spay/neuter and microchip. As with any shelter animal, health is not guaranteed but we do our best to screen out those animals that are showing obvious signs of illness or disclose that information prior to adoption. All dogs are heartworm tested upon adoption.

If you are interested in adopting a dog and you reside OUTSIDE the city limits of Conway and the dog is less than 12 wks old, the cost is $75 which includes a spay/neuter and micropchip. The spay and neuter can only be performed at Vilonia Vet Clinic or Companion Animal Spay/Neuter Clinic. If the animal is less that 12 wks and you live inside the city limits the adoption fee is $25 dollars and you receive a voucher for $120 to use at select clinics for spay/neuter. The other option is that you provide us with proof of a pre-paid spay or neuter at YOUR vet of choice.

PAULIE

Excuse me….have you seen my owner? They were just here a minute ago…I turn my head for one second and they wondered off…I really think they should make collars for owners…..that way we don’t have to go looking for them all the time. My name is Paulie…as you can see I am an extremely handsome neutered male Labrador mix, maybe a splash of Pitbull….shhhh don’t tell….anyway….I’m about 1 yr old and I weigh 38 lbs. I enjoy counting milk bones, reading the feeding guidelines on dog food bags, which by the way are too low, and collecting toys. So…..if you like to count, read and have a love of toys like I do….I think we could be a perfect match….I’m available now!

I settle in pretty quickly and love to be carried everywhere. I’m a pretty independent gal and like to explore. I’m looking for my forever home and will be available 7/13/17 if my owners don’t find me….if you have a purse with a little space left….come check me out! FLASH

So there I was showing off my cat like moves to those humans trying to catch me…ha…I showed them…or so I thought….you know what they say…you can’t out run the long arm of the law. I must say watching and snickering at them from the bushes was fun…for a minute. I guess they thought it would be cute to name me Flash. I’m a 3-4 yr old Min Pin/Chihuahua mix and I weigh 16 lbs. So here I am…I figured since I’m here I might as well make friends…which, by the way, takes a little time with me. I mean of course if you greet me in my kennel I’m quick to find your lap but sudden moves startle me just a bit. I’m a happy guy and prefer to take care of business outside. If you like cat like reflexes….in a Flash…I’m here! If my owners don’t find me I will be available 7/11/17.
