Chandler: What do you do when the unexpected happens?

Good morning brothers and sisters! This is the day the Lord has made and I will rejoice and be glad in it. God is good and His love endures forever. Regardless of what I may be going through, God is still good!

It doesn’t matter what the devil may put on my plate, God is good! I found out life can through you a curve ball. Life can be good, it can have you jumping for joy one day then you can be sad the next day. You can be sitting on top of the world one day then the next day, the world can be sitting on top of you.

You can have all the money you need in your bank account and the next day you are broke. You can be in good health one day but the next day your health can fade away. I ask you again, what do you do when the unexpected comes into your life? Brothers and sisters, I tell you, it’s good to know Jesus in these days and times.

Everybody needs to know Him and if you know Him, call on Him. He is willing and able to supply all your needs. Jesus loves us so much that He gave His life on Calvary. No man took His life! He laid it down for you and for me. Thank You Jesus for dying for us. Jesus, You not only died but You got up out of the grave in three days and are sitting at the right hand of God the Father in Heaven. Amen?

If we say we are Christians, we need to start acting like we are Christians. We must understand the world is looking at us and judging us to see if we are really who we say we are, and that’s a follower of Christ. We as Christians need to stop looking and acting like the world.

We as Christians need to stop straddling the fence, one foot in the world and the other foot in the Church. One foot in Heaven and the other foot in hell. Stop it! It doesn’t work like that! Either you are going to Heaven or you are going to that place called hell. The door is open to Heaven and the door is open to hell. It’s your call! It’s not up to God. You must choose which door you want to go through. It’s up to you. God wants us to choose the door to Heaven. But many will choose that door to destruction. As a matter of fact, He has made a way for us to get to Heaven and that way is through Jesus Christ. In fact, He is the ONLY way to Heaven.

John 14:6 reads: “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one can come to the Father except through Me.” Now that is Jesus talking. Question: who are you following behind? God or the devil? Trust me, you are following one or the other. You are either following God our Heavenly Father, and if you are not following Him, you are following the other.

John 8:44 reads: “For you are the children of your father the devil, and you love to do the evil things he does. He was a murderer from the beginning. He has always hated the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, it is consistent with his character; for he is a liar and the father of lies.”

My friends, you only have one shot at Heaven and that’s through Jesus Christ. Please don’t miss it because you will never get another chance when Heaven’s doors close. I ask you, don’t take Heaven or hell lightly because the real you will spend it in one or the other. So I beg you to follow Jesus so you won’t miss Heaven.

All I’m trying to do is build you up and not tear you down, to tell you the truth and not a lie. In closing, I thank each and every one for your prayers for me. By now everyone should know that I have been diagnosed with prostate cancer. Pray for me and I will pray for you.

Here are a few scriptures I recite every day: By the stripes of Jesus I am healed. No weapon formed against me shall prosper. I shall live and not die declaring the works of the Lord. Long life you will satisfy me and show me your salvation. The greater One lives on the inside of me.

Now these are God’s promises and I am going to believe and stand on His promises. And God can’t lie! AMEN…
