At the beginning of 2013 I made five goals for myself to complete before the end of the year. One of those goals is to finish a 5K.
I've never been very athletic. In high school I was involved in theater and my rehearsals served as a good workout (I was always placed in a dancing role and after a two hour rehearsal my muscles could definitely feel it!), but that was about the extent of my physical activity.
In college I had friends who would run for relaxation, fun or stress relief. I admired them but never had time - well, never made time - to join them.
