The Chase Race & Paws, scheduled Saturday, beginning at 8 a.m. at Simon Park, is still a “go” according to the Race Director, Don Potter.
The Chase Race Board and volunteers are busy getting everything in place for a fast 2-mile race/walk, a fun 1-mile leashed dog race, and a popular Pet Pageant on Saturday.
“We are stuffing packets, ordering refreshments, monitoring course conditions, coordinating with the city, social media, checking the weather, and etc.,” Potter said. “Mother Nature dropped some beautiful snow on the course Wednesday night and we will be working to make sure the course is safe and ready for the race.”
The Chase Race Facebook page and www.chaserace.info will have any details or changes for participants. Saturday weather looks to be perfect race weather, 32-55 degrees, according to Potter. A few clouds and lots of sunshine is in the forecast.
“So we look forward to seeing you at the start line of the 10th Annual Chase Race,” he said. “The Race and recipients of the race need you. See you at the start line Saturday!”
