Charles Early Miller

Charles Early Miller, 70, of Greenbrier, passed away at his home Thursday, April 17, 2014.

He was born Feb. 11, 1944, in Marvell, Ark., to the late James Early Miller and Charlotte Bottorff Miller.

He was a veteran of the Army and the Air Force and retired Air National Guard Reserve Master Sergeant. He retired after 28 years with the Army Corp of Engineers where he worked as the Water Treatment Plant manager. He was a member of the VFW.

He is survived by his wife, Jean Rae Miller; son, Charles Miller Jr. of California; daughter, Tracy Lanette Hudman of Hot Springs; step-daughter, Jean R. Rackley Lamb of Hot Springs; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Other survivors include his sister, Linda Miller of Mount Ida, Ark.; and brother, James Miller (Nina) of Somerville, Tenn.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Cherie Eva Shade; and two sisters, Rheba Irene German and Barbara J. Stainback.

There will be a visitation from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, April 20, 2014, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier.
