Beverly Ann Davidson Stapleton

Beverly Ann Davidson Stapleton, 62 of Conway went to be with her Lord on Sept. 1, 2012. Born in Morrilton, she was a daughter to Bill and Bobbie Jean (Manes) Davidson. Beverly was retired from the Carrier Corporation, where she had been a service coordinator. Beverly was a member of Oak Bowery Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Butch” Stapleton and her mother Bobbie Jean Manes Davidson.

Those left to mourn her passing include her father and step-mother Bill and Lois Davidson; daughters: Sherry Rowlett and husband Tony of Vilonia, Angela Stapleton of Denton, Texas and Melissa Stapleton of North Little Rock; grandchildren: Lacey and Ben Rowlett and Bryce and Noah Taylor; sister, Linda Russell and husband Farrell of Morrilton; brother, Mike Davidson and wife Thresa of Plumerville; a dear and special friend, Larry Martin of Conway and a host of extended family and friends.

The funeral service, under the direction of Roller McNutt Funeral Home (501-327-7727), will be held at 10 a.m., on Tuesday, Sept. 4, at Oak Bowery Baptist Church, with Bro. Matt Corkran and Bro. Jeff Russell officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Bowery Cemetery with Dennis Russell, Rick Kelley, Steve Hensley, Shane Martin, Dickie Wright and Lee Kelley serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer is Jimmy Stapleton. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., on Monday, Sept. 3, 2012 at Oak Bowery Baptist Church. Memorials in Beverly’s name may be made to the American Heart Association.

Drake Everett Walker, 12, of Conway, accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior and went to be with his Lord, Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012. He was born Friday, April 28, 2000 in Little Rock to Rodney Aaron Walker and Jamie Allison Johnson Walker.

Drake was a student at Ruth Doyle Middle School where he was a member of the football team. He was also a member of New life Church where he was a member of the 412 Youth Group. Drake loved hunting, fishing, golf, basketball, spending time on the lake and being with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Dale and Pearl Theriac, Cecil Johnson, Roe Everett Elrod, Juanita Walker and Lloyd Walker, Sr.

Drake leaves his loving family, Rodney and Jamie Walker; a brother and best friend, Nicholas Tyler Walker; grandparents, Lloyd, Jr. and Sandy Walker of Cabot and Paul and Linda Johnson of Little Rock; great-grandmothers, Jessie Elrod of Heber Springs and Helen Johnson of Greers Ferry; aunts and uncles, Doug and Paula Davis and their children, Jeremy and Jordan of Conway, Mark and Terri Hamby and their children, Aaron, Lyndsey and Olivia of Malvern, Kevin and Shannon Holt and their children Kaiden and Samantha, Scottie and Allyce Johnson and their children Henry and Baby A of Farmington, Brent and Lauren Walker and their children Sydney and Kate of North Little Rock and Eric and Whitney Griffith and their son Jonathan of Hot Springs; and a host of other family and friends who loved him very much.

Visitation will be Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2012, 6-8 p.m. at New Life Church, 633 S. Country Club, Conway, AR 72034. Funeral service will be Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012 at 10 a.m., in New Life Church-Conway. Interment will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Conway (501) 327-7727.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials to New Life Church, 633 S. Country Club, Conway, AR 72034. Please put “Missions Memorial” in the memo line.
