Rogers at CONWAY (10): Conway has advanced past the first round four of the past five seasons but no further. Conway won in the first round at Rogers 35-20 last November and beat the Mounties 42-6 in the first round in 2012. Conway lost at home for the first time this season last week. Conway senior running back Michael George averages eight yards per carry and 178 yards weekly, helping the Wampus Cats outscore opponents 37.4-21.2. Rogers makes the playoffs as the West conference No. 6 seed with victories over winless Van Buren 24-17 and Rogers Heritage (1-9) 43-33. The Mounties lost league games to Bentonville, Fayetteville and Har-Ber by an average score of 55-11.

Camden Fairview at GREENBRIER (12): This is the second playoff meeting between these schools, with Camden Fairview winning 49-28 in the 2009 semifinals. Greenbrier shared the 5A West title this season after beating Vilonia by 28 points a week ago. P

Panther senior Spencer Sutterfield has 157 carries this season for 990 yards and 18 TDs, and he’s a defensive leader (89 tackles, two sacks and one forced fumble). The Panthers might have success passing the ball with senior receivers Grant Brown (45 catches, 468 yards and five TDs) and Reese Hammontree (24 catches, 467 yards and three TDs). Camden Fairview gets in the playoffs after a one-year absence. An opposing coach calls the Cardinals “the most athletic team in our conference. It comes down to execution. They can be scary to defend.”

Cross County at No. 7 CONWAY CHRISTIAN (11): Conway Christian owns a balanced attack and Marked Tree just used a balanced attack to crest 400 yards and score 50 points on run-heavy, ball-control Cross County. Conway Christian beat run-heavy, ball-control Magnet Cove 38-31 two weeks ago by efficiently scoring three TDs on four second-half possessions.
