Sideline: Hogs’ 2018 schedule; New Mexico State kickoff

Hogs have 7-game home schedule in ‘18

 

FAYETTEVILLE - Seven home games adorn the Arkansas Razorbacks 2018 football schedule released Tuesday.

With one to be played at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock and the rest at Reynolds Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville, the Razorbacks in SEC games host Alabama, Oct. 6; Ole Miss, Oct. 13, Vanderbilt, Oct. 27 and LSU, Nov. 10.

In non-conference home games, all in Fayetteville, the Razorbacks open the season Sept. 1 against Eastern Illinois and Sept. 15 host North Texas and Oct. 20 host Tulsa.

Away from Arkansas, the Razorbacks play a Sept. 8 non-conference game at Colorado State, and in the SEC play their annual neutral site game with Texas A&M Sept. 29 at the Dallas Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, and play true SEC road games Sept. 22 at Auburn, Nov. 17 at Mississippi State and Nov. 24 at Missouri.

Arkansas’ open date weekend is Nov. 3.

UA-New Mexico State to have early start

FAYETTEVILLE - The Arkansas Razorbacks vs. New Mexico State Aggies football game scheduled Sept. 30 at Reynolds Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville will kick off at 11 a.m. and be televised by the SEC Network.

Arkansas, 1-1, plays its SEC opener against the Texas A&M Aggies, 2-1, at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Dallas Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

New Mexico State, 1-2 of the Sun Belt Conference sandwiching a 30-28 victory at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque with a 37-31 loss at Arizona State and a 27-24 loss at home vs. Troy in Las Cruces, host Texas-El Paso Saturday in Las Cruces.
