Dallas Baptist avenged a loss to Central Baptist College on Friday in romping to a 95-64 victory over the Mustangs in the fifth-place game in the National Christian College Athletic Association national tournament at Winona Lake, Ind.
Dallas Baptist had a 36-24 advantage in points in the paint and 38-23 in bench. It led 41-32 at the half.
The Mustangs shot 35 percent from the field.
Jalyn McBride led CBC with 14 points. Fred Albright added 12 and Marcelious Green 10.

North Little Rock and Conway baseball teams prolonged the start of spring break Thursday with the Charging Wildcats taking a 4-3 victory in 10 innings at Wampus Cat Field.
Each team had eight hits. Kirby Reck and Matt Lloyd each had two hits for the Wampus Cats.
North Little Rock took an 11-9 victory Thursday over Conway in softball at Lady Cat Field.

St. Joseph’s boys soccer team ran its record to 2-1, 2-0 going into spring break with victories over Heber Springs and Jacksonville Lighthouse this week.
The Bulldogs, who were 5-7 last year and finished fifth in the conference, will return to conference play, after spring break against Riverview on Tuesday, March 28, at Centennial Soccer Park.
The Lady Bulldogs (1-2, 1-1) evened up their conference record with a mercy rule 7-0 victory in the earlier match against Jacksonville Lighthouse. The girls look to repeat another playoff appearance after finishing the 2016 season 6-1 and second in the 4A-3 conference.
