The Arkansas Educational Television Network Foundation is excited to announce a generous gift from the Windgate Foundation.

The AETN Foundation will receive $100,000 to support local programming should 7,500 new members join by June 30, 2018. Donors are invited to challenge their friends and family members when they accept by sharing personal invitations, sending emails and posting on social media outlets using #AETNChallenge.

“Investing in AETN is one of the smartest decisions you can make for yourself and your family,” AETN and AETN Foundation Executive Director Courtney Pledger said. “The educational programming AETN brings to all Arkansans through PBS and the Arkansas stories we are uniquely positioned to share have a life-changing impact on the people of our state. We thank the Windgate Foundation for their generous grant – and gratefully accept the challenge!

“We look forward to welcoming new members to our AETN public media family.”

There are many ways to become a member. Membership levels include:

• Basic Membership – $45.

• Passport Level – $60.

• Sustainer – any amount monthly.

• Ambassadors Circle – $500.

• Directors Level – $1,000.

Members who donate at least $60 annually or $5 or more monthly as an AETN Sustainer have extended, on-demand access to great public television programming with AETN Passport. AETN Passport provides donors access to current and archival programs from both PBS and AETN and is available via aetn.org, pbs.org and other digital platforms.

More information on the AETN Foundation New Member Challenge, including online signup, can be found at aetn.org/challenge.

The Foundation provides Arkansans opportunities to connect with the only statewide public media outlet by becoming a financial donor, corporate or foundation partner, volunteer, or by other means of giving. The AETN Foundation builds relationships between AETN, donors and viewers and is committed to being a transparent and accountable steward of private financial support.
