Car thief steals car from daycare while mom was dropping off son

Posted: August 15, 2014 - 2:07pm

A car thief stole a mother’s car from Ms. Carrie’s Day School on Tyler Street while she was inside dropping off her son, according to a CPD incident report released today.

According to the report, the mother left her 2000 Nissan Sentra, gray in color, running in front of the daycare for about three minutes on Wednesday while she was inside dropping off her son. When she came out, the car was gone.

She wasn’t sure what was in the car when interviewed by an officer who arrived a few minutes later, but the thief got her sachel purse with the green and orange striped wallet that was in it, along a checkbook, debit/credit cards, keys to her residence and, of course, keys to the car.

The car’s license plate begins with a 4 and ends with a Y. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Conway Police Department.

LOL

If you leave your car running and unattended in Cornway you could be needing good walking shoes.

I am glad someone else beat

I am glad someone else beat me to being the first post.

I thought the same thing, if you leave your car running and you leave your keys in your car because you think you just be a minute or your to confident that you in a safe area of town your asking for you stuff to be stolen.

Who does this?

STUPID FREAKING VICTIMS!!!

This is why we can't have nice things.

We blame people for getting things stolen all the time. Why is it socially acceptable to take something that's not yours? Even the Michael Brown supporters were saying "it's only a box of cigars".

Obviously, humans have progressed so far in society to not take what is theirs.

I want every single one of you to give me your car the moment you leave it unlocked and running somewhere. I'll have a nice collection by the end of the week.

Why is it ok to take advantage of another person's mistake?

So y'all please call me when you leave your house unlocked by accident, I need some more jewelry and a DVD player.

God forbid.

If she would have had a gun, the liberals would want to string her up for endangering the welfare of a minor.

Conway PD needs to have a

Conway PD needs to have a bait car and then have their own show on Trutv.

CG, I am completely in agreement with what you are saying. Sadly, we live in an entitlement society now, and far to many think what is yours is also theirs. Thank you Obama.
