Dr. Steven Cooper, a chiropractic doctor in Conway has relocated from the Conway Wellness Center to 602 West Oak Street in an expansion with Dr. Michael Martinez.
Cooper’s staff also has relocated to the facility.
“Combining these practices will produce a synergy of experience for the benefit of my patients,” Cooper said of relocating to Martinez’s office. “Dr. Martinez’s facilities will allow expansion of the services available and both of us are optimistic of the future growth generated.”
Cooper’s practice deals more with conventional chiropractic practices with nutritional supplements, and what is called Neuro Emotional Technique (NET).
“NET looks at the way the body reacts physiologically to stress,” Cooper said. “All that stress can be connected to different parts of the body. Several times, we find that stress can cause certain nerves to go out of place. We try to fix that.”
Cooper said Martinez practices with acupuncture.
“He’s very good at it and a lot of people he has worked with have been cured because of it,” he said. “It’s one of those things people are scared of, but it’s not anything to worry about. A lot of people are worried about the needles, but the acupuncture is so small, you barely feel it.”
Cooper has been in practice for more than 24 years, while Martinez has been practicing for more than 30 years.
