Brother Chad Brandon has been preaching and teaching the messages God has given him just for Holland Baptist Church. We not only want to hear the Word but be obedient in following the instructions God gives for living. We’re thankful for the visitors we’ve been having regularly.
We’re excited about our approaching new church year which begins Sept. 1. We still need Wednesday night and Sunday morning workers. Teaching and training our children in the Word is one of our top priorities. We have a great group with which to work.
August 13 is the date to remember for our back to school event. The activities will begin at 5:30 p.m. Our regular Wednesday night schedule of 5:30-7 p.m. for children and youth will resume Aug. 20. We’re looking forward to a great year with these young people! Betsy Petty is our Wednesday night coordinator.
Our church will host the Faulkner Baptist Association Quarterly meeting at 7 p.m. Aug. 7. We look forward to preparing and serving a delicious meal under the direction of Nina Johnston. It’s always exciting to hear what is happening in FBA and the goals for the future. We appreciate our Director of Missions, Dr. Larry White.
Fourteen women and one sweet little girl enjoyed food and fellowship at Marketplace Grill Tuesday night. Kelli Martin coordinated this event.
Betsy Petty plans to take several youth to the Youth Evangelism Conference at Immanuel Baptist Church in Little Rock. The conference is scheduled for Aug. 8-9. Our people will be spending the night of Aug. 8 in Little Rock.
We pray God’s richest blessings on the union of Lauren Brandon and Jason Pierce. The wedding ceremony is planned for Aug. 2 at 1 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church in Conway. Lauren is the daughter of Bro. Chad and Shelly.
We continue to remember many in prayer, the spoken and unspoken prayer concerns of our people.
May God bless wherever you serve.
