Three recent University of Arkansas graduates from Conway have been elected into the Phi Beta Kappa, the nation’s oldest and most prestigious honor society.

Weston Barger is a senior mathematics major in the J. William Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences and the son of Michele Lemon.

Steven James, a senior biology major in Fulbright College, is the son of Shawn Glenn and Jerald James.

Austin Cole is a senior biology major in Fulbright College and the son of Andrew and Beverly Cole.

To be elected into Phi Beta Kappa students must major in one of the liberal arts and sciences, enhance their studies with a significant breadth in their coursework, and graduate in the top 10 percent of their class.
