A driver was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated Monday following a crash that killed a Conway woman.

According to an Arkansas State Police report, Mattie Reynolds, 24, was killed when a car crossed into her lane and struck the front of her vehicle.

The report said Reynolds was eastbound on Highway 64 when she was struck head-on by Deborah Montgomery-Bland, 54, of Conway, who was driving west on Highway 64. Weather conditions were clear, and the road was dry at the time of the accident, according to the report.

According to reports, Montgomery-Bland was also arrested on suspicion of following too closely, refusal to submit to a test and leaving the scene of an accident with property damage. She was injured in the accident and taken to Conway Regional Medical Center for treatment. The arrest report says she was jailed and bail was set at $2,800.
