HJR 1009, is an “Ethics and Transparency Amendment “ which includes the extension of Arkansas Term Limits. Twice Arkansans have voted not to extend Term Limits. The title of the Amendment is the “Arkansas Elected Officials Ethics, Transparency and Financial Reform Amendment.” The title gives nothing to indicate to the voter there will also be included within an expansion of Term Limits.

Tim Jacob is has twice led the charge to defeat an expansion of term limits in Arkansas. He is a graduate of Hendrix and manages a small business in Little Rock. Mr . Jacob is a free lance artist. He holds the position of Chairman of Arkansas Term Limits since 1993 and defended the law in the US Supreme and Arkansas Supreme Court.
