Woman killed after allegedly being 'run over' by boyfriend

According to the Conway Police Department, a Conway man is in custody after allegedly driving his car into a woman police say was his girlfriend on Thursday.

The victim, identified by police as 36-year-old Angela Smith, was taken by air ambulance to Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. She died there Friday. Eric Orlando Smith, 22, is being held on suspicion of negligent homicide.

The incident happened at the 200 block of South Ash Street, and allegedly followed what interim public information officer Candie Beck described as a domestic disturbance.
