Vilonia Revenue Office extends hours
The Vilonia Revenue Office will be open today for document replacement. Beginning next week, the office will be open Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The revenue office has extended its hours to help those affected by the tornado apply for drivers license and titles and registration for vehicles including ATV and mobile homes, said Elizabeth Osburn, customer service representative.
If an individual already had an Arkansas drivers license, Osburn said, he or she can give their full name, and be issued a new one.
For titles and registration, Osburn suggests bringing any documentation available such as plate numbers, VIN numbers and serial numbers for mobile homes.
“We’re trying all kinds of different ways to look up things,” Osburn said.
Osburn said she would be in constant contact with her supervisor as she has been given special instruction about what she can and cannot accept.
Normally, the office is only open Tuesdays and Thursdays, but is extending its hours to aid those affected by the tornado.
The office will close each day from noon to 1 p.m. for lunch.
The Vilonia Revenue Office is located at 118 Bise Drive in Vilonia. The office can be reached at (501) 796-8211.
