Book Donations being taken for children affected by the tornado

The Faulkner County Library and all branches are accepting book donations for the children who lost everything in the tornadoes. Please bring your new or gently used books to the library where they will be collected and distributed to children in need.

We are also accepting reading material for adults who are at shelters. Please consider donating magazines and other materials in good condition.

We will accept donations through the month of May, at which time we will evaluate future needs. If we receive more donations than we can deliver to those in need, we will re-direct the donations to other library and UCA programs.

Donations should be boxed or in some kind of container to make distribution more efficient.

This program is co-sponsored by the M.F.A. program at UCA spearheaded by Stephanie Vanderslice.

For more information, call the library at 327-7482 or email
