New Beginning Church
“Is it I” was our message this past Sunday. Matthew 26:20-23 Now when the even was come, He sat down with the twelve. And as they did eat, He said verily I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me. And they were exceeding sorrowful, and began every one of them to say unto Him, Lord, is it I? And He answered and said, he that dippeth his hand with me in the dish, the same shall betray me.
How many of us have served the Lord in the past but today are living in the world? How many would rather spend their time watching TV, fishing, going to games, or playing video games and not going to church? That my friend is betraying the Lord. He should be first and foremost in our lives.
We enjoyed having Jason Johnston, Robert Reeves and Teresa McNew in service with us this past Sunday.
On Wednesday night we have been studying all the things that happen to our Savior. The nails (spikes) that was driven into his hands and feet. The crown of thorns, the cross, the vinegar, the reed, the whip and so much more that our Savior endured. All the pain that was put on Him was for us. He loved us more then you can imagine what love is all about. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotton Son.
We are still praying for Ann Veazey, Charlene Patrick, for the lost and many loved ones and friends.
