Man killed by train at Donaghey and Tyler streets

Conway police are reporting that a man has been hit by a train and killed at the Donaghey and Tyler crossing.

The train has been stopped, and police are investigating the accident, which happened at around 1:40 this afternoon. La Tresha Woodruff, said CPD public information officer. Woodruff said that the man was on foot. No further information is being released.

New cases of West Nile Virus Disease

The Arkansas Department of Health (ADH) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) are urging people to take steps to prevent West Nile virus infections. Outbreaks of West Nile virus disease occur each summer in the United States. The first two cases of 2017 were identified in Arkansas late last week.
