3-year-old reunited with mother

A three-year-old boy found wandering alone at Favre and Greenwood in Conway has been reunited with his mother, according to Conway police.

La Tresha Woodruff, public information officer for the Conway Police Department, said the boy left a babysitter's home in the area and walked about four blocks before he was found.

Woodruff and the department put a call out on social media for information about the boy's family, and the department received a phone call from someone who gave the name of the boy's mother.

The mother was contacted, and the mother and child were reunited, Woodruff said.

Conway police posted to Twitter about 30 minutes before the child and mother were able to be reunited.
