William Luyet Attains Eagle Scout

William Luyet

William Luyet, 18, of Conway, attained Eagle Scout on Nov. 14, 2013.

He is a member of Troop 78 and a senior at St. Joseph High School.

He is the son of Jimmy and Charity Luyet of Conway and the grandson of Jim and Olga Luyet of Conway, Bill and Lavonne Tice, and Dale Tice and the late Terry Tice, all of Fairfield Bay, Ark.

William spent 60 hours on taking the Knights of Columbus sign down and re-painting it by hand and then re-hanging it for the Knights of Columbus Hall in Conway.

An Eagle Scout Court of Honor will be held at 3 p.m. Feb. 23 at the Knights of Columbus.
