Winter weather accidents keep officers busy during weekend

At least 15 accidents, more than $34k in damage reported

Faulkner County was hit with approximately 3 inches of snow Friday, and caused hazardous driving conditions around town.

According to Conway Police Department accident reports released Monday, officers worked at least 15 accidents related to winter weather that resulted in $34,250 in damage. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the accidents.

Information from accident reports released Monday is as follows:

•8 p.m. Feb. 7

Arkansas 286 and Amity Road

$1,000 in damage, no injuries

•8:45 p.m. Feb. 7

Salem Road and Prince Street

$1,000 in damage, no injuries

•9 p.m. Feb. 7

Donaghey Avenue, north of College Avenue

$1,500 in damage, no injuries

•9 p.m. Feb. 7

College Avenue and Farris Road

$50 in damage, no injuries

•9:07 p.m. Feb. 7

Dave Ward Drive near Hogan Lane

$1,800 in damage, no injuries

•9:10 p.m. Feb. 7

Irby Drive and Calhoun Drive

$1,400 in damage, no injuries

•9:10 p.m. Feb. 7

Ingram and Monroe streets

$10,000 in damage, no injuries

Fendley Drive and US 65

$2,500 in damage, no injuries
