Faulkner County under winter weather advisory until Tuesday

This graphic shows the latest forecast of winter weather expected to move through the state Monday and Tuesday. Faulkner County is still expected to receive between 1 and 3 inches of snow, and has been placed under a winter weather advisory beginning 6 p.m. Monday.

Winter weather advisories have been issued for a large part of Arkansas, including Faulkner County, ahead of another winter weather storm expected to move through the state and drop between 1 and 3 inches of snow.

The advisory begins 6 p.m. Monday, and extends to noon Tuesday.

Light snow or flurries are possible Monday morning, but significant accumulation is expected to occur Monday night and into Tuesday, forecasters said.

Monday’s high is in the low 30s while the low Monday night is 17 degrees with a 70 percent chance of wintry precipitation.
