Much of Arkansas will see snow flurries in the next two days as another winter weather system moves through.
The National Weather Service it does not appear that widespread hazardous driving conditions will be seen, but could cause brief problems if heavy snow flurries occur.
Arkansas has seen multiple rounds of winter weather this week, and more could be on its way next week. Meteorologist John Robinson first warned of the potential of another system in a Wednesday email.
“It still looks as though a more significant round of winter weather could occur early next week,” Robinson said Thursday. “Most likely in the Monday, Tuesday time frame.”
Robinson said although current models show the system, it’s not a definite.
“Several days ago, it looked like there could be some significant winter weather in Arkansas this weekend,” Robinson said. “But now this looks very unlikely. So, early next week is something to keep an eye on, but winter weather is by no means assured at this time.”
