Burglars net 16 cartons of cigarettes

Two subjects stole about $1,000 in cigarettes and cigars from Fred's, 1125 Morningside Drive, according to a Conway Police Department incident report.

The report dated for 1:10 a.m. Sunday states two subjects, described as black males, one with what appeared to be a pillowcase over his face, and another with what appeared to be a fuzzy pink scarf over his face, gained entry to the business by throwing a rock through the front glass doors.

Surveillance footage from the store shows the subjects filling bags they brought with them with 16 cartons of Pall Mall and Newport cigarettes along with an unknown quantity of loose packs of cigarettes and cigars.

One subject was wearing a camouflage jacket, and the other had on a black jacket, according to the report.
