Central Baptist College has announced the seventh annual Benefit Dinner and Silent Auction to be held on Tuesday, March 4. The event has been revamped so those who have attended every year will experience something completely different. Proceeds from this year’s event will go towards sound equipment, lighting equipment and décor upgrades in the Burgess Auditorium.
The night will begin with a Silent Auction to be held in the Story Library. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., and guests will be treated to an hors d’oeuvre dinner and made-to-order specialty drinks prepared by CBC Dining Services and executive chef Jill McCollum. The meal will be served “station style” so guests can experience the ambiance of the newly opened Story Library on a self-guided tour while enjoying great food and a vast array of silent auction items.
When the Silent Auction ends at 6:30 p.m., guests will move to the Burgess Auditorium in the Harold E. Cooper Educational Complex to enjoy a benefit concert by inspirational musician Ken Medema. Event attendees will enjoy reserved seating.
Individual tickets are $50 and sponsorships range from $500 to $5,000. Tickets and sponsorships can be purchase online at www.cbc.edu/benefitdinner.
