Where to be New Year's Eve in Conway

For those looking for a lively spot to toast the New Year, there are several Conway establishments that will be open popping champagne when the clock strikes 12.

King’s Live Music and the Brick Room Event Center are going to party like it’s 1929 with their Great Gatsby themed New Year’s Eve Party sponsored by Central Events. Partygoers are encouraged to dress in their best roaring twenties attire. The Rodney Block Project, a six piece jazz group, will be headlining the show at King’s with DJ Brandon Peck featured in the Brick Room. Doors open at 7 p.m. Music starts at 9 p.m. VIP seating and sections are available by reservation. For more information call (501) 205-8512.

The Conway Downtown Partnership is hosting Conway’s first Rockin’ the Plaza New Year’s Eve Party from 8 - 10 p.m. Classic rock band Yesteryear will be playing tunes from the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s and 80’s as Conway rocks around the Christmas tree in Rogers Plaza. A $20 donation will go to support the Community Foundation of Faulkner County as well as register participants to win one of several gifts donated by downtown merchants.

Conway Country Club is hosting a New Year’s celebration for members and guests featuring the Arkansas party band that rocks - Mayday by Midnight. Dinner service will be available in the main dinning room from 6 - 9 p.m. with the band picking things up at 9 p.m. and playing until 12:30 a.m. The toast at midnight will be followed by a breakfast buffet. Centennial Valley Country Club is celebrating a “Should Old Acquaintances Be Forgot and Never Brought to Mind?” New Year’s Eve party from 8:30 p.m. - 12:30 a.m. at the 19th Hole for members only. The party will include a DJ, party favors, drinks and appetizers, a New Year’s toast and breakfast at midnight. Call (501) 513-2522 for tickets and reservations.

VFW Post 2259 is ringing in the New Year with foods, brews and blues. Food will be served at 7 p.m. followed by country and rock-n-roll band Highway 124 at 9 p.m. There will be a toast at midnight, followed by the New Year’s Day tradition of black-eyed peas. Call (501) 329-1230 for tickets and reservations.

Bear’s Den Pizza is claiming to get crazy with its biggest party of the year. The usual drink specials will be served from 9 - 11 p.m. with a toast at midnight. A live DJ will provide music.

The Conway Supper Club is kicking off New Year’s Eve with Tiffany from Just Try it Karaoke at 7 p.m. Then Central Arkansas Entertainment is providing a top Arkansas DJ to dance the night away.

The Draft: Ultimate Sports Grill will be celebrating New Year’s Eve with DJ JP until 2 a.m. with happy hour from 3 - 6 p.m. and again from 9 - midnight with a toast at midnight. Call (501) 358-3454 for drink specials and cover charge.

Everyone is welcome to party at JJ’s Grill this New Year’s Eve, as the restaurant and bar are not charging a cover fee. Super 55 will be jamming anything from modern to classic rock from 9 p.m. until 1 a.m. with a New Year’s toast at midnight.

Old Chicago will also be open until 1 a.m. without a cover. Happy hour starts early from 2 p.m. - close with a toast to the New Year at midnight.

For those looking to catch a bite to eat before heading out to a New Year’s Eve party, several Conway restaurants are offering specials.

Table Mesa Bistro will feature live music. Acoustic duo Classic Current will be playing a mix of jazz, classical and hits from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. The restaurant will also feature drink and dinner specials for the holiday, open until 10 p.m. Call for priority seating at (501) 404-9822.

Mike’s Place will be open for dinner only until 9 p.m. For reservations call (501) 269-6453. U.S. Pizza Co. will be open until 10 p.m. with the usual Tuesday beer specials.

TGI Fridays will offer late night Social Hour specials on appetizers and drinks starting at 9 p.m. until close at 1 a.m. ZAZA Fine Salad + Wood Oven Pizza will be serving New Year’s Eve drink specials at the bar, open until 11 p.m.

Buffalo Wild Wings will release its list of New Year’s Eve games this morning for those who are looking for something to do until their New Year’s Eve party tonight. Lunch specials will be served until 2 p.m. The bar closes at 1:15 a.m. To make sure your team is on call (501) 205-1940.

Two local favorites will be closed for New Year’s Eve. Toad Suck Buck’s will be closed New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, opening back up Jan. 2 with normal business hours.

The Locals will also be closed New Year’s Eve, but will open at 10 a.m. New Year’s Day for those looking to start the New Year with fresh, local baked goods and coffees.
