Armed robber arrested in Dallas

Posted: December 20, 2013 - 3:09pm

A suspect in November’s string of armed robberies has been arrested in Dallas, Texas.

Devante Williams, DOB 11/25/1995, of Little Rock was tracked down by U.S. Marshalls, who found hiding in a closet at a Dallas home. Williams is accused of being part of the group that menaced and robbed three people at gunpoint on the night of November 17, stealing cash and a credit card later used at an Oak Street gas station.

Largely because of the quality of the gas station security camera images, suspected robbers Rickiyia Oliphant, DOB 11/13/93, and a 16-year-old male, both of Little Rock, were identified arrested within days. The minor has been charged with three counts each aggravated robbery and theft of property; Oliphant is charged with theft by receiving and fraudulent use of a credit card.

The question here is

Did the police recover his pistol and was he in fact it's registered owner?

Good job catching these

Good job catching these hoodlums.

The pistol was probably not legally his. Probably stolen from some lamo CCW permit holder or other similar irresponsible gun owner.
