The Arkansas Supreme Court will hear oral arguments on the campus of the University of Central Arkansas at 9 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 10 in the Reynolds Performance Hall.
Faculty, staff, students and the general public are invited to attend.
The Arkansas Supreme Court is expected to be in session for approximately one hour.
No one can enter or exit the auditorium after court is in session.
The judges will hear a post-conviction death penalty case: Andrew R. Engram v. State of Arkansas, from Pulaski Circuit Court, Seventh Division.
During the February meeting of the Board of Trustees, President Tom Courtway announced the court’s visit to the campus as part of their Appeals on Wheels events.
Weapons, cameras, recording devices, umbrellas, campaign materials and buttons, shirts or signs supporting any party involved in the case being argued are not allowed in the building during the court’s visit.
