The three-year-old boy who was attacked by a pit bull outside Conway’s city limits Monday is recovering, Chief Deputy Matt Rice said Tuesday.
Rice said the boy, Buck Credit, Jr., is in good condition according to his parents.
The child was playing in the yard of his grandfather’s home when the dog broke off its chain and attacked him, according to deputies.
The child’s injuries were described as severe, and deputies were forced to euthanize the dog when they arrived, Rice said.
The child’s grandfather, Ricky Jackson, was cited for his animal biting another human.
