Local Dance Team LTD Express wins in Nashville, Tenn.

The “Olympics” of the clogging dance world was held over Labor Day weekend in Nashville, Tenn., at the beautiful Gaylord Opryland Hotel and Convention Center. After qualifying at the Grand National Challenge of Champions this past June in Branson, Mo., members of the adult competition team, LTD Express, a division of the LTD Edition Cloggers from Greenbrier, traveled to Nashville to compete in the USA National Clogging Championship and came home with three big wins.

Competing against teams from around the country, including other clogging teams from Arkansas and hundreds of entries, LTD Express won first place Division 2 Amateur Exhibition Team, third place Amateur Traditional Line Team, and first place Senior Amateur Duo/Duet.

LTD Express team members for 2013 are Lanita Pettey Hammett of Houston, Ark., Angelia, Sydney, and Hannah Bernhardt from Damascus, Ark., Amanda Peacock Rooney from Guy, and Director/Instructor Cj Conine from Pickles Gap.
