Dr. Brandon Thurow recently received the Chris Hackler Award for Excellence in Medical Ethics from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences University Hospital.
He received the award for the work he did as a resident at the UAMS Area Health Education Center, now the UAMS Regional Center in Pine Bluff.
The award is presented annually to both a UAMS resident and a faculty member in recognition of impeccable actions in medical ethics and leadership, promoting thoughtful analysis and discussion of ethical standards affecting patient care.
Thurow currently practices at the Throneberry Family Clinic on College Avenue. He joined Dr. J. Bart Throneberry’s family practice in the summer of 2012. Thurow is a member of the active medical staff at Conway Regional Health System.
