Authorities confirmed no serious injuries occurred Wednesday morning when a vehicle drove into a dentist’s office, located in the 2400 block of Prince Street.
Emergency crews responded to Randy Lenderman’s Family Dentistry, located in an office suite at the corner of Prince Street and Farris Road around 11 a.m.
The driver of the vehicle told police she was pulling into a parking space when her foot slipped off the brake, at which point her vehicle “lurched forward, striking the outside wall and entered into the building completely,” the accident report states.
A patient, identified as a 76-year-old male, was in the dentist’s office waiting room when the vehicle entered the building, the accident report states.
Conway Fire Department Assistant Chief Mike Winter said he was not sure how many people were inside the building at the time of the accident, but said approximately four people were inside after the accident occurred.
The man was taken to the Conway Regional Medical Center emergency room to be checked for injuries. The accident report does not state if the man suffered any minor injuries.
Damage to the building was estimated at $50,000, and damage to the vehicle was estimated at $2,000 in the accident report. No citations were issued as result of the accident.
